In a conservation area on the rural fringe of the village of Kingskerswell, halfway between the market town of Newton Abbot and the seaside resort of Torquay, the cottage and B&B at Rock House are ideally situated for exploring the magnificent South Devon coastline, the wide open spaces of Dartmoor, numerous beautiful gardens and National Trust properties. The Eden Project and many Cornish gardens can be visited comfortably in a day, and golfers are very well catered for, with many fine courses within easy reach. The cosmopolitan cathedral city of Exeter and the historic towns of Totnes and Dartmouth are a short drive away.

For those whose idea of complete relaxation is not having to drive anywhere, the garden provides a perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful setting with its views over the adjoining fields and woods. Alison is a keen gardener so you will always be surrounded by colours and scents, and you can sample the organic salads and vegetables growing in her ornamental kitchen garden. c
